We realize that writing an article may provoke different reactions. America is very stubborn about techniques for parents and some of the problems we face today's youth. And that's okay. This is what America is all: the freedom to think, feel and express yourself as you choose. If administrators camp, we enjoy the same freedoms.
Young people today have gotten out of hand and they are spoiled, ungrateful children. The material thingsformer luxury are now expected and demanded. The parents feel enormous pressure to meet these requirements, to keep up with parents who are similar. In a way it's really a game, and the only ones who benefit are the children that these big ticket items without the need to earn or even show their appreciation. Like many parents today have seen their child slam a video game controller in anger, and then watch them pickup to continue playing the game? Allowing this behavior is to encourage children to respect and maintain the luxury that it will never be an appreciation for these elements. Abuse of an item should lead to immediate loss of the goods for at least a week. And that's just for a first offense.
It 'amazing how a baseball bat or glove, which was a popular birthday present when we were younger is almost considered sufficient for our children today.Birthday Gifts now consists of video games, iPods and other expensive electronic devices that we are so reluctant to buy our precious girls should not "do without". Even more shocking is the lack of respect for adults and young people today seem to be openly displayed, and pride. Years ago, if you did something wrong, you should be punished by the adult responsible for you at the time, and then after that you have at home. What happened? What is the cause and abusive language towards adultsbecome acceptable? Why no one does anything to stop this? If we had even a fraction of what children tell an adult said today it would probably be thrown in next week Tuesday. Have you ever told your father, "No" or "Wait" when he was told to trash? We certainly do not!
We do not advocate violence, but we are in favor of parents taking care of children, given the continued deterioration of our society to avoid. We are in favor of doingchildren earn their privileges, and earn their luxuries. We support the sale of these items on eBay as children do not respect or appreciate, and not be replaced. We support the rights of parents the right to discipline, respect and obedience of children to expect. This is not child abuse, is a right front.
