Sometimes when the pressure becomes too much, it helps to transfer your internal stress to an external object. Do not hold the stress in but try to release it from your body through different activities and actions. There are many ways to reduce stress and almost certainly you will find one or more that suit you most and will help you to release this annoying stress out of your body.
We will take a look at ten ways you can relieve yourself through physical actions.
The first method is usually the thing that most people think of when trying to reduce stress: squeezing the a stress ball. A tennis ball can substitute for a stress ball. There is also option to make your own stress ball or get some professional from the store. Whatever ball you have it will ensure fast and easy stress relief
The second method is for those who like to transfer stress into energy: hammering and pounding a boxing bag, externalizing your stress in the dead weight that hangs before you. This is not only an effective form of stress relief; it is also an effective form of body exercise. As we can see stress has some positive effects on health after all.
The third method is guaranteed to send a shock through your system, improve your blood circulation and release the stress in the process: sprinting as hard as you can for as long as you can. If you are brave, you may decide to sprint up a hill or some other steep incline. This kind of intense burst of activity will produce endorphins in your body, the natural anti-stress drugs.
The fourth method comes from the cult comedy movie Office Space: totally trashing a piece of technology! This is a good one for those of you who have to contend with the annoying quirks and irritating foibles of modern technology. In the movie, the characters trash an office printer/copier that has been the source of untold grief. So if you feel like expressing your primal side, grab a baseball bat and reduce a piece of technology that you no longer need. This could be some old computer, nonworking monitor or used cell-phone.
The fifth method is a classic one for those annoying bosses and people you disslike: the good old dartboard. Pin the picture of the person that stresses you on the dartboard and puncture that smug expression!
The sixth method may not be the best ethical choice for some people: try visiting the local shooting range. There is something magical about firing a gun, something that leaves you feeling pretty mellow after the shooting. If handling a gun is not to your liking, or if you do not know of a local practice range, consider an excellent substitute: paintball skirmish. Paintball s a great way of relieving stress while having fun. But remember use guns only in the places designated for arms usage, do not use them for wrong cause.
The seventh method requires little energy therefore it is suitable for "lazy people": shooting video game , desktop games or stress relief games for groups which you can play using computer; without even moving from your room you can reduce some stress. Although it would be better for you to get outside to the nature and do something more active, playing a video game at least lets you relieve stress easily through winning and progressing on to higher levels.
The eighth method is quite extraordinary but it ensures the total stress relief: bumper cars. It is probably the closest thing to Fast-and-the-Furious car action that you can legally get away with doing!
The ninth method is for all you motor lovers out there: turning your nearest rural road into your own personal racetrack. The wind blowing in your face, adrenaline going through your body and the sense of freedom will make you forget your stress.
The tenth and final method demands some bravery and nerves: go skydiving or try bungee experience. Often a great way of dealing with stress is getting back in touch with your fear-based survival instincts and your will to live.
Now when we went through all the methods you should follow them carefully and by that you will reduce your stress easily. Who else will combat stress instead of you? You are the one that should start with stress management and you are the one who will finish it and become de-stressed. So what are you waiting for, start making changes for a better future.
